We have a 5 bedroom, 3 bath double wide home that is on approximately 2 acres. We would like to sell this and either build or buy another home. We would like to do this quickly if possible. Will you please let me know ASAP about someone who would loan money to someone who doesn’t have good credit with no money down?

My ex-wife got our home in our divorce settlement. The home loan is in my name only. Can she write off the interest of the loan on her taxes? Or can I?

I’m looking at an old Victorian home (built 1889) and wish to restore the home. The problem is, I know it will never pass inspection.

What kind of home loan can I get for something like this?

My home loan goes into an adjustable rate in June of next year. I am wondering what to expect. I currently have a so-so rate… with interest rates dropping or staying the same, what will my adjustable rate do if the market stays like it is now?

I am planning on buying a home for 63,000 dollars I have about 35,000 dollars saved up in my bank account is it wise to try to pay off the house as quickly as possible in order to save on interest? I live at home with my parents so I am buying the house as an investment. I plan to put about 25 or 30 thousand down on the house and leasing out the house and I am going to try to pay it off in about 2 years….Is it wise to do this or should I just give a small down payment on the home and just save my money….Banks don’t pay that much on interest 4 or maybe 5 % at most, but I would be gaining about 200-250 above my monthly payment on the loan if I gave a large down payment because my payments on the home loan would only be about 400 dollars and I would be renting out the home for about 650 dollars….Is it wise to put a large down payment and try to pay off the home quickly…Or should I just give a 20% down say about 12,000 dollars and then try to pay it off later when I’ve saved up?

Say you want to buy a $60,000 home, but you don’t plan on living there longer than 10 years. Would it be better to get a 30 year loan and have smaller payments, or a five or ten year loan so when you sell teh house it is completly paid off?
Actually the price of the home is irrevelant. I was just wondering which option would be better.

mama of 2 asked:

My family will be moving in about 4-5 months. If I applied for a home loan now, how long would the approval amount be good for before I had to reapply? We would like to know what kind of price range we are looking at and possibly have the new home picked out so that we can close on that home as soon as our current one closes. Also, does anyone know how soon after selling your home (when the loan is closed) I should expect to receive the profit from doing so? We purchased our home for 75,500 and can expect to sell for right around 90,000 and we were hoping to use the profit towards the new home (landscaping, new dishes, etc) We don’t need it for a down payment because we will be getting a VA loan. Any other info that you may have as well would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks so much!!

Here is my situation:

I have 6 months of good credit card history, but nothing else
I own 2 acres of completely paid off land
I am 20 years old

Someone told me that i need 3 years of credit history to get a home loan. Is this true?

I am expecting to pay about 25% down payment, but I just want to make sure that i can get a loan without a co-signer.
